Richard A. Packer
Chairman
Mr. Packer was appointed Chairman of ZOLL in April 2016, after serving as Chief Executive Officer since 1999, and earlier as the company’s President. He previously held executive positions as Chief Financial Officer of the company, interim Vice President of North American Sales, and Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining ZOLL in 1992, he was a Vice President at Whistler Corporation, a consumer electronics company. Mr. Packer holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, as well as an engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. As of April 2016, Mr. Packer also serves as Executive Officer of Asahi Kasei’s Health Care Business Unit.

Jonathan A. Rennert
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Rennert was named Chief Executive Officer of ZOLL in April 2016. Since joining ZOLL in 2008 as President, he has led the company to become the global leader in external defibrillation, diversified the product portfolio through the addition of transport ventilators and intrathoracic pressure regulation (IPR) therapy, and has overseen the establishment of Asahi Kasei ZOLL Medical, ZOLL’s Japanese subsidiary. Prior to joining ZOLL, Mr. Rennert led the analytical instruments business at PerkinElmer, Inc., and earlier in his career, held manufacturing and engineering leadership positions with United Technologies and General Electric. Mr. Rennert holds master’s degrees in management and mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton University.

A. Ernest Whiton
President, ZOLL Resuscitation

Mr. Whiton was named President of the ZOLL Resuscitation division in April 2016. From 2013 until 2016, he served as Senior Vice President of International Operations, increasing ZOLL’s international resuscitation business by more than 50%. During the previous 15 years, between 1998 and 2013, Mr. Whiton served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Administration, playing an instrumental role in shaping the company’s mission and strategy. This led to significant company growth in revenue while ZOLL was listed on the NASDAQ, prior to ZOLL’s acquisition by Asahi Kasei in April 2012. Before joining ZOLL, Mr. Whiton was Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Ionics, Inc., a global separations technology company. Earlier, he was a Manager at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Whiton holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Bentley College.

Jason T. Whiting
President, ZOLL LifeVest
Mr. Whiting was named President of the ZOLL LifeVest® division in July 2015, after serving as the Vice President of Global Marketing and Clinical Operations for LifeVest. Before joining ZOLL in 2008, he had more than a decade of medical device management experience with Guidant Corporation (now Boston Scientific Corporation) and MEDRAD (now a business of Bayer Healthcare). Throughout his career, Mr. Whiting has held positions in sales, marketing, supply chain management, and global business management. He holds an MBA with a dual major in marketing and supply chain management from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Michigan.

James Palazzolo
President, ZOLL Temperature Management Solutions

Since 2008, Mr. Palazzolo has been President of the ZOLL Temperature Management Solutions division, where he is responsible for the general management of ZOLL’s therapeutic temperature management business as well as operations related to ZOLL’s AutoPulse® product. Mr. Palazzolo previously held positions in sales and marketing, business development, and research and development at numerous medical device companies in all stages of development, including Radiant Medical and Revivant Corporation, which were acquired by ZOLL. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University.

Alex N. Moghadam
President, ZOLL Data Management Products

Mr. Moghadam assumed leadership of the ZOLL Data Management division team in July 2013 after serving eight years as Vice President of International Operations for ZOLL’s core resuscitation business. During this time, he more than doubled the company’s global presence and expanded its reach into Japan, China, India, Eastern Europe, and the Nordic region. Prior to joining ZOLL, from 1995 to 2005, Mr. Moghadam held a variety of commercial and operational roles with Thermo Electron (now Thermo Fisher Scientific), which included eight years of overseas assignments in Asia and France. He holds an MBA from DePaul University, a master’s degree in international management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Loyola University of Chicago.

Steven K. Flora
Senior Vice President and Vice President of North American Sales

Mr. Flora joined ZOLL in 1998 as Vice President of North American Sales. Prior to ZOLL, Mr. Flora spent 16 years in various positions with Marquette Medical Systems, a manufacturer of cardiovascular and physiological monitoring systems. He last served as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Flora received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Illinois.

Ward M. Hamilton
Senior Vice President
Mr. Hamilton joined ZOLL in 1992 as Vice President of Marketing. He directed ZOLL’s worldwide marketing until 2012. He now serves as Senior Vice President and focuses on planning, strategy, industry cooperation, and the recently established ZOLL Foundation. Prior to ZOLL, Mr. Hamilton was employed by the City of Pasadena Fire Department, Datascope Corp., and Laerdal Medical. He has worked in the field of defibrillators, physiological monitors, and resuscitation devices and research for more than 40 years. Mr. Hamilton received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Hartwick College and holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Southern California. He serves on the board of directors for the Citizen CPR Foundation and is active in the American Heart Association.

Aaron M. Grossman
Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Mr. Grossman joined the company as Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary in October 2011. His legal expertise includes managing all aspects of the legal function, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, employment, corporate governance, intellectual property, and litigation. Prior to ZOLL, he served in a similar capacity at LeMaitre Vascular, Inc., a publicly traded medical device company based in Burlington, Mass., with operations in 15 countries. Earlier, from 1999 to 2002, Mr. Grossman was a Corporate Attorney at Goulston & Storrs in Boston. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Vassar College, a master’s degree in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a juris doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.

Craig M. Stowell
Vice President, Corporate Controller
Mr. Stowell was named Vice President, Corporate Controller in December 2013 after serving ZOLL as Assistant Corporate Controller since 2010. He joined the company in 2003 serving in various finance roles, including planning and budgeting, business development, and corporate governance. Prior to ZOLL, Mr. Stowell was employed by Narad Networks, an early-stage technology company. Earlier, he was an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Boston. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts and subsequently earned his CPA license.
