Director, EMS Marketing - EMEA & LATAM

Drive the EMEA LATAM EMS business with an emphasis on strategic direction, positioning and product launches. This position focuses on market strategy and development as opposed to downstream sales and customer support. Applicable product lines include, but are not limited to, monitor/defibrillators, AEDs, CPR technologies, ventilators, data products, clinical/QA information, therapeutic electrodes and accessories.

Responsibilities, essential functions:

  • Drive the EMS positioning and strategy across the EMEA LATAM market to ensure continued market growth and competitive penetration.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Marketing Communications managers to effectively deliver product and company messages to the sales teams and market.
  • Lead the EMEA LATAM EMS Marketing Team.  Establish personal objectives for the team to help achieve the EMS Marketing Objectives.  Provide coaching as necessary to grow and develop the team.
  • Partner with marketing teams from EMS-related ZOLL entities to insure initiatives are synergistic
  • Work with Product Management to define, research and guide development of EMS products to ensure needs of EMS customers are met in fashion that is better than any competitive offering.
  • Produce an annual EMS marketing plan and budget that aligns strategies and tactics with those defined in the EMS mid-term plan; contribute to annual mid-term planning activities.
  • Other duties as assigned, consistent with the company’s goals, objectives and interests

Qualifications/Skills Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Marketing and Product Management experience preferred
  • Language:  English is a must (1 other European language / 2 European language is preferred)
  • Ability to communicate at all levels (Leaders, customers and colleagues)
  • Demonstrated ability to take complex information and make it useful to internal & external customers
  • Proven record of “Go To Market Strategies”
  • Strong project management experience
  • Candidate must have ability to influence “all parties” involved in EMS Marketing including internal / external customers
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation and project management skills
  • Candidate must be results / goal oriented
  • 20% Travel (Domestic & International)

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical area, (Master’s degree in Marketing preferred)
