Military Marketing Manager

Location: Chelmsford, MA


Job Summary:

The Military Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the North American and Latin American Military Business to help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels. This position Works closely with Global Product Management to provide input into product development with a focus on trends and future needs of the military market. Works closely with the marketing support staff in graphics web, trade shows and PR to ensure effective and consistent communication with our military customers.

This position is reporting to the Global Military Marketing Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Development and execution of regional Military Marketing plan in close collaboration with Global Military Marketing Manager and VP Global Military Sales
  • Implementation and execution of strategies and tactics supporting our global and regional Military strategic objectives (Short and Medium Term)
  • Develops and deploys successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
  • Conducts, maintains and communicates market and competitive analyses
  • Manages the regional marketing budget
  • Develops and executes social media strategy in close coordination with the Global Military Marketing Manager, the VP Global Military Sales and the Corporate Marcom team
  • Coordinate with product management to collect VOC and define product/market requirements in line with military user requirements..
  • Manages the launch of new products into specified markets
  • Manages North American and Latin American military trade shows

Skills Requirements:

  • Current knowledge or aptitude to learn clinical applications of product in military market
  • Willing to do light physical work
  • Demonstrated ability to take complex information and make it useful to customers and sales teams.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation and project management skills.
  • Strong results orientation
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% of time
  • 5-8 years of experience; experience in military preferred but not essential.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  •  Bachelor's degree in business or technical area, MBA preferred
