Duties and responsibilities

  • Oversees and responsible for the entire production line and products manufactured, its processes, resources, and material flow, to ensure smooth production and meet production plans and required quality.
  • Manage, maintain, and implement production quality policies, production procedures, and employees training and qualification to ensure compliance with medical device and regulatory requirements.
  • Taking active part in quality audits and driving Corrective and Preventive Actions.
  • Lead production line planning processes and works with supply chain teams to ensure smooth flow supply chain to meet customers demand and expectations.
  • Manage and control production orders to ensure proper material and cost management.
  • Evaluating tools and jigs resources and capacity to ensure continued and smooth production and minimal downtime.
  • Developing production workflows and procedures that improve efficiency and productivity without compromising safety or quality.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline production business processes, through information systems automation and integration, to achieve increased productivity.
  • Anticipates bottlenecks, manages priorities, identifies risks, and escalates issues that cannot be internally resolved.
  • Taking an active part in NPI and ECO’s process, ensure all production aspects are well covered, and drive its implementation and training in the production.
  • Ensure proper DHR and production process documentation and traceability.
  • Generate routine management reports and KPI’s to monitor the production activities and its objectives.
  • Ensure proper facility maintenance and HR support procedures and activities.
  • Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free.
  • Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff.
  • Develop a professional team and drive quality and excellence culture in all production elements.  

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar relevant field.
  • 5 - 10 years progressive experience in production management roles with multi-disciplinary products
  • Experience with medical device production environment.
  • Well familiar with medical device quality and regulatory requirements, and external/internal audit procedures.
  • Experience with high volume production processes.
  • Experience with NPI and ECO’s processes and implementation.
  • Deep understanding and hands on experience with ERP systems, material management, work orders, and production costing.
  • Knowledge of production Root Cause Analysis and CAPA implementation. 
  • Hands on expertise in developing and implementing programs for process and yield improvements and cost reductions.  
  • Exceptional attention to details, ability to multi-task and work under pressure with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional work ethic, team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and independent person.
  • Very high proficiency in Hebrew and English.
  • This is an on-site position in our production site in Caesarea.
  • This position includes 5% travel.
