Provide leadership to ZOLL’s Chelmsford Sourcing and Logistics Team, as well as leveraging Chelmsford’s resources and buying power to benefit all of the subsidiary locations. Manage an organization of 10-15 people, encompassing Purchasing and Logistics. Provide significant support in these areas to subsidiary operations.

Reports to Vice President of Operations.


Essential Functions:

  • 70% Worldwide Sourcing:
    • Develop and leverage worldwide supplier base to ZOLL’s optimal advantage
    • Coordinate value engineering efforts between ZOLL and the supplier base to minimize cost, while maximizing quality
    • Drive Supplier on Time delivery performance to achieve operational metrics. Improve planner performance for inventory management
  • 10% Logistics:
    • Provide oversight and control to inbound shipping methods; work cross-functionally to ensure efficiency in selection and management of all transport and associated cost
    • Duty drawback
  • 10% Subsidiary Analysis & Consultation:
    • Provide and leverage expertise in all of the above areas to the maximum advantage of the subsidiaries
  • 10% Projects and other responsibilities as assigned


  • Demonstrable skills in global supply base development, global procurement, inventory optimization/planning, and logistics
  • Strategic sourcing, Commodity management and developing supplier relationships
  • Driving Low Cost Country (LCC) supplier development
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems – Oracle preferred
  • Leadership and mentorship
  • Skilled in problem solving/systems analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in appropriate disciplines
  • 10+ years of Supply Chain/Sourcing experience, with at least 5 years in leadership role
  • International experience in sourcing and distribution to include Low Cost Countries
