Position Summary:  The HRIS Analyst is responsible for facilitating and supporting key processes and accountabilities within Human Resources. Provides technical expertise to develop and implement technology-related projects. Duties involve independent judgment and discretion on issues that may be sensitive or confidential in nature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees technology projects include ensuring quality and proper use of HR information systems, reviewing and prioritizing system maintenance and creating enhancement requests for HRIS systems.
  • Ensuring security of HR information through established security protocol.
  • Leading project teams for integrations, upgrades, modifications, enhancements, etc., and participating in issue tracking and resolution formulating for all HR systems.
  • Prepares and distributes scheduled reports for employee data contained in the HRIS in an accurate, timely manner.  In addition, creates ad hoc reports in response to requests from users within Human Resources and in other departments.
  • Develops training and documentation of system use for administrative and end-users.
  • Analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology; oversees the specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures for HRIS system users to ensure efficient business processes.
  • Resolves HRIS system issues, acts as “troubleshooter" for HR, works with IT department closely.
  • Maintain electronic records according to regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Maintain, set up, and document system configurations and interfaces as required.
  • Analyze and organize HR data to determine trends and issues within the company.
  • Develop test plans and test scripts and document the results.
  • Provides support to the Human Resources Department as needed.

Educations and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience; preferably focusing in Human Resources and/or HRIS
  • 2-5 years of analyst/specialist experience preferred
  • Proven experience with ADP eTIME  
  • Epicor HCM, Taleo and SharePoint a plus
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Advanced excel and analytical skills
  • Strong technical and functional knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, which includes the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization (from manufacturing and assembly to corporate leaders) and work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments while working on various projects simultaneously. Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment is required.
  • Ability to work independently, meet stated deadlines under tight timeframes and persistence in completing assignments to the end
  • Ability to work with confidential data.
  • Collaboration with management and HR, and other functional areas requiring data.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as training documents, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out multi-step instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
