We are looking for an Inside Sales Manager who will be responsible for the telephone, e-mail and web-based sales of targeted add-on and upgrade products into existing clients. In addition, the Inside Sales Manager may follow-up and prospect for new opportunities on responses generated through various marketing campaigns and programs and/or assigned targeted lists. This is an inidvidual contributor position. 


  • Achieve contact and sales goals.
  • Partner effectively with field-based territory sales managers to assist them in hitting their individual goals.
  • Call into assigned accounts to uncover sales opportunities for add-on and upgrade products.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, using primarily online presentation tools such as WebEx.
  • Manage ongoing sales relationships to a sophisticated customer through telephone contact and e-mail.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospective leads and report on pipeline progression in review meetings with management.
  • Maintain accurate records of all call activity in SalesForce.com
  • Build rapport and relationships with territory sales managers and customers through prompt, courteous, efficient, and professional service.


  • College degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Ideal candidates should have strong telephone based experience with solution based selling methods and proven ability to effectively navigate a complex sales process.
  • Minimum 2 years professional business development and/or inside sales experience.
  • Experience selling software and services.
  • Commanding knowledge of MS-Outlook/Word//Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and/or Sales Force Automation applications such as Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent time management, communication (oral and written), decision-making, presentation and organization skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Public Safety/EMS Industry background or knowledge
  • SaaS based sales experience
