Bystander CPR Provider Honored by Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics Heroes Among Us

July 13, 2010 - Laura Geraghty was recently presented the Heroes Among Us Award by the Boston Celtics. Geraghty, a former school bus driver who survived sudden cardiac arrest in 2009 , went on to help save a man’s life with a PocketCPR at her local WalMart in North Attleboro, Massachustts.

Established in 1997, the Celtics' Heroes Among Us Award is presented to an person who has made an exceptional and lasting contribution to his or her community. At each home game, the Celtics salute honor the recipient with a special in-game presentation.
