Setting up Disclosure Log Transmission
Disclosure Logs refer to the clinical case files from the X Series® defibrillator. These files are how you transmit your vital signs, waveforms, treatment events (code markets), 12-lead snapshots and analysis, monitoring and event snapshots, and CPR data to your ZOLL® software (CaseReview or Case Transfer). You can transmit up to 15 cases at one time from the X Series to the remote server.
The X Series records disclosure log data continuously and can maintain up to the most recent 150 full disclosure cases.
From the supervisor menu, navigate to Communications > Disclosure Log, then enter the following:
- For the Server DNS Name:
- US Cloud Customers: dxsvc.zollonline.com
- Canadian Cloud Customers: dxsvc.ca.zollonline.com
- In-Premise customers: enter the URL (recommended) or IP address as provided by your IT department.
- The Port will be 443 unless otherwise specified by your IT department.
- Cloud Customers can get your Password and Customer ID from your ZOLL Online Administrator (The Data Access Key "Alternate ID" goes in the Customer ID field, and the "Password" goes in the Password field).
- DO NOT REVERSE THESE ENTRIES — the Password field is first on the X Series
- In-Premise Customers can get your Password and Customer ID from your IT department.
- Your IT department will inform you if a separate CA cert will be necessary for your device.
The Verify Certificate setting controls whether you want the X Series to verify the identity of the RescueNet® server prior to transmitting disclosure logs. Enabling this option improves the security of the connection by confirming that the unit is communicating with the actual RescueNet server.
- If this is ENABLED and the X Series is unable to verify the server's certificate then the disclosure log transfer will fail and the clinical user will receive an error message for the certificate validation failure.
- If this is DISABLED then the X Series will proceed with transmitting the disclosure logs regardless, if the server can accept the files.
- The X Series comes pre-loaded with files from the most common Certificate Authorities, including the CA used by ZOLL's cloud-hosted RescueNet servers. All certificates, however, have expiration dates. It may be necessary to update the CA certificate in order to maintain the X Series' ability to successfully verify the RescueNet server's identity and transmit files.
