  1. Call for help – 911/emergency number or Code Blue.
  2. Any CPR is better than none.
  3. Do compressions…then send for the defibrillator.
  4. Minimize circulation checks. Keep pauses to less than 10 seconds. Emphasize compressions.
  5. After shock or if no shock advised, do CPR for 5 cycles or 2 minutes.
  6. Push on the chest hard and fast.
  7. 30 compressions and 2 breaths. 100 compressions and 8-10 breaths/minute after an advanced airway.
  8. Optimize blood flow by minimizing CPR interruptions.
  9. Minimize compression interruptions unless defibrillating or intubating.
  10. Most important 3 things in CPR: compressions, compressions, compressions.
