The ExpertCare™ Technical Training team offers classes to hospital-based biomedical professionals from customer sites to ensure they properly maintain and service their ZOLL^® equipment.* We offer both experiential, hands-on learning programs and virtual training opportunities to ensure customers receive the training they need directly from ZOLL in the form that works best for them.

Typical training topics include:

ZOLL service overview
Device operation and functionality
Data, configuration, and software
Battery management

Functionality and overview of monitoring parameters
Preventive maintenance procedures
Troubleshooting
Basic repair and disassembly (in-person classes only)

*These classes are not intended for distributors or third-party biomedical organizations. ZOLL reserves the right to refuse registrations based on our discretion. ZOLL reserves the right to cancel a class or to restrict attendance due to enrollment numbers.

REMOTE LEARNING – BIOMED TECHNICAL TRAINING*
(4 hours)

Remote learning classes provide exclusive training for your team of biomedical professionals. An experienced instructor explains the fundamentals of device maintenance via two-way video conference. Additional time is allotted to practice the PM procedure and to ask the instructor questions. Our remote learning programs are dedicated to a single customer’s biomed team and are not open to multiple customers.
Supported platforms: Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

CUSTOMER SITE – BIOMED TECHNICAL TRAINING*

During this two-day course, an experienced instructor guides students through the preventive maintenance (PM) process, the fundamentals of device troubleshooting, and basic repair.

Learning objectives of classes held at customer sites may be customized to meet organizational needs and focus more on either preventive maintenance or repair.

E-LEARNING COURSE

Our instructor-developed curriculum is offered through an intuitive, web-based learning platform that uses video training modules to guide students through the step-by-step preventive maintenance process.

E-learning courses allow students to train on their own schedule with direct access to ZOLL instructors via email. Subscriptions are purchased in two-year increments and include access to E-learning web modules. A training certificate is provided upon successful completion of course exams. Students can download a variety of supplemental resources, such as service and operator’s manuals, configuration guides, and technical bulletins. Products currently supported include ZOLL R Series ALS/BLS devices and ZOLL AED 3.

*These programs provide a comprehensive overview of ZOLL products with an emphasis on preventative maintenance and basic repair.
