fabian® Therapy Evolution

fabian Therapy Evolution works with the ZOLL Infant Flow® LP for NIV delivery

Contact a product expert

The fabian Therapy Evolution ventilator allows for non-invasive (NIV) and high-flow blended oxygen therapy. In connection to the fabian therapy, the Infant Flow LP is tested and validated. The Infant Flow LP was designed for the special anatomy, physiology, and respiratory needs of infants while utilizing less driving pressure on average than other variable flow devices to create the same pressure level at the patient nares.

Synchronization during Non‑Invasive Ventilation

The fabian Therapy Evolution offers Patient Trigger as an optional software option to enable synchronized transition from low to high CPAP levels in DUOPAP mode. When paired with the hot-wire flow sensor, the ventilator attempts to identify patient inspiratory effort and to synchronize breath initiation. This configuration supports NIV trigger, flow sensitive synchronization while allowing for continuous monitoring of the respiratory rate.

Predictive Intelligent Control of Oxygenation (PRICO)*

Helps keep patients within their prescribed SpO2 target range with automated FiO2 adjustments managed by PRICO (Predictive Intelligent Control of Oxygenation). PRICO monitors the patient's SpO2 and adjusts FiO2 to help keep the patient in the SpO2 range. Studies have shown that automated FiO2 reduces the need for manual adjustments.1
