Technical Service Specialist

  • Follow documented service instructions to perform inspection, investigation, troubleshooting, analysis and service work on ZOLL Circulation devices (AutoPulse batteries, chargers, TGXP consoles, STx consoles, TherOx consoles, others as required). 
  • Read and understand work instructions, test procedures, product specifications, wiring diagrams and schematics to determine testing equipment and procedures to be used.
  • Compare results with specifications and record test data on PC and associated service forms.
  • Perform functional and component level investigation, troubleshooting and tests on sub-assemblies as well as finished devices as required. 
  • Analyze test results and troubleshoot defective units to determine and document most likely root cause of failure.
  • Assist Complaints and QA process by documenting returned device investigations focused on Battery and Charger archive analysis and interpretation.
  • Maintain service records, test and investigation documents in accordance with the corporate quality system requirements.  
  • Confer with ZOLL engineers, technicians, production personnel, manufacturing engineering and others as required to resolve problems or improve product quality.  Perform US field service calls at customer sites as required.

Education/Training/Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ Years experience servicing electromechanical products
  • Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Science training
