Job Summary:

Works to provide Salesforce CPQ Administrative support under the direction of the Sales Systems Manager. This position serves as the subject matter expert for CPQ and is responsible for the design, configuration, support, and maintenance of existing CPQ environment.  Functions include, translating business requirements into technical requirements to architect, configure, deliver, review, test, support and troubleshoot existing and new CPQ initiatives.  Tracks all issues and/or enhancement requests as cases. 

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for CPQ design, configuration, support, maintenance

  • Troubleshoots, identifies, resolves CPQ issues

  • Works with MuleSoft subject matter expert to troubleshoot, identify and resolve CPQ Integration errors

  • Designs, and develops CPQ using CPQ best practices and holistic approach

  • Deploys and tests new functionality, upgrades and fixes in both sandbox and production environments

  • Responsible for developing and/or maintaining all documentation and materials as they pertain to CPQ

  • Responsible for CPQ training as necessary

  • Works with Sales Systems team and cross-functional teams as necessary

  • Works with Applications IT team to maintain existing and accomplish new system integrations as needed

  • Cross Trains with Managed Services Partner to familiarize with existing CPQ environment setup and integration

Skill Requirements:

  • Experience with Salesforce.com Sales, Contracts and CPQ Modules

  • Experience with CPQ Product Bundles, Product Rules, Price Rules, CPQ Calculator, Advanced Approvals

  • Deep understanding of the business processes as they relate to Salesforce.com application

  • Must be able to understand complex business requirements and translate to technical solutions

  • Ability to articulate risk factors of proposed new technical solutions to existing environment

  • Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, processes, and procedures

  • Ability to clearly define a problem or issue

  • Ability to research to resolve issues and adequately escalate issues if needed

  • Ability to follow test scripts and execute testing scenarios

  • Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of previous experience as a Salesforce CPQ Administrator in an environment that had more than one CPQ implementation process

  • Salesforce.com CPQ and Oracle integration experience

  • BA or BS Degree preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Salesforce Certification(s)

  • Salesforce CPQ Certification(s)
