Technical Trainer / Customer Quality Assurance (m/f/d)

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing guidance and support to on-site and "Preventive Maintenance" (PM) technicians and performing on-site product support to assigned customers. Product support includes logistics, deployments, on-site troubleshooting, preventive maintenance (PM) and software upgrades.

Location: Köln / Aachen / Maastricht / Eindhoven

Significant travel in Germany and Benelux.

Fluency in German or Dutch and strong English language skills are required.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to lead technicians at various levels.
  • Provide product support on site, by phone and through field technicians.
  • Assists customers in the use of the equipment.
  • Escalates customer related issues to the Service Manager and CQA Account Manager.
  • Performs on-site troubleshooting and corresponds with ZOLL technical support to document activities.
  • Assist and/or conduct employee reviews as required by management.
  • Possible assignments to other customers in the region as directed by the Manager.
  • Ability to maintain client specific information related to service activities.
  • Monthly reporting of departmental metrics on on-site coverage and PM performance.
  • Provide software upgrades as required.
  • Development of internal CQA customer management. 
  • Review installed base records to determine potential for service contracts
  • Coordinate field service planning and training of field service teams

Required/preferred education and experience:

  • Technical college degree or similar in Electro or Biomedical engineering
  • Minimum 2 years working experience
  • Experience in a matrix organisation is advantageous
  • Valid driving licence
  • Excellent presentation skills are essential
