R-Series – Test Wireless Transmission

To Test the ZOLL R-Series Defibrillator you will need the following:

  • ZOLL R-Series defibrillator
  • Your programmed and configured wireless card
  • To be within range of the wireless network the card is configured to connect to

To Test the Wireless Transmission:

  1. Turn the Defibrillator to ‘ON’ (for R-Series BLS) / ‘Monitor Mode’ (for R-Series ALS)
  2. R-Series BLS Only: Press the ‘Manual Mode’ softkey and confirm
  3. WAIT – after a few seconds the “Report Data” softkey will appear
  4. Press ‘Report Data’
  5. Press ‘Transfer Mode’
  6. To transfer clinical files (for CaseReview customers) press ‘Report to Wi-Fi’
  7. To transfer device check history (for Clock Sync or DeviceDashboard customers) press ‘Defib History to Wi-Fi”
  8. The Defibrillator should show this order of events:
    1. INITIALIZING NETWORK
    2. CONNECTING TO NETWORK
    3. WAITING FOR SERVER RESPONSE: Progress bar should be at 100%
    4. TRANSFER COMPLETE: Full Disclosure Was Sent (If you pressed “Report to Wi-Fi)
      5. OR
    5. TRANSFER COMPLETE: Device Check Was Sent (if you pressed “Defib History to Wi-Fi”)
  9. If the transfer failed for any reason, retry. If you receive errors 4+ times in a row, contact technical support for assistance: https://www.zoll.com/contact/customer-service
