X-Series – Configure 12-Lead

  1. From the Supervisors menu, select ‘Communications’
  2. Using the arrow softkeys, scroll down and select ‘12-Lead Reports’
  3. In the fields, set the following:
    1. ‘Server DNS Name’ - The value ‘12lsubsvc.zollonline.com’ by factory default is already in this field
    2. ‘Port’ - The value ‘443’ by factory default is already in this field
    3. ‘Password’ - Enter your RescueNet Customer password in the field
    4. ‘Customer ID’ - Enter your RescueNet Customer ID in the field
    5. ‘Verify Certificate’ - In the Verify Certificate field specify whether you want to Enable or Disable (default) certificate verification for the RescueNet 12-Lead Server. If the Verify Certificate field is set to Enable, when the X-Series unit establishes a connection to the RescueNet 12-Lead Server it verifies the server’s certificate and identity before the 12-Lead transmission can proceed. If the verification fails, the unit displays a status message indicating whether the failure was a result of certificate or identity validation. Enabling this option improves the security of the connection by confirming that the unit is communicating with the actual RescueNet Server.
  4. Before you can transmit 12-Lead reports, you must download the current Distribution List for your account from ZOLL Online’s 12-Lead application. If you have already configured your wireless preferences, you can use the Update Distribution List button to complete the download. The X-Series retains the current Distribution List until a new one is downloaded. If you modify the Distribution List entries within your 12-Lead application in ZOLL Online, you will need to download a new copy on all of your X-Series devices.

CERTIFICATES:

The X-Series comes with certificates pre-loaded for common Certificate Authorities (CA), including the CA used by ZOLL’s RescueNet Server. All certificates, however, have expiration dates. It may be necessary to update the CA certificate to maintain the ability to successfully verify the RescueNet Server’s identity. Complete the following to update the CA used to verify the RescueNet Server.

  1. Insert a USB device with the certificate(s) in the USB port on the right side of the X-Series device.
  2. Select ‘Load CA Certificate from USB’. The Load from USB window displays a list of available Root CA certificate files.
  3. In the “Files Available” field select the desired certificate.
  4. Select ‘Load Selected’
  5. Press the left arrow to return to the 12-Lead Reports menu.
  6. When you are done entering data, press the back arrow to return to the Supervisor>Communications menu
