R-Series - Set the Device Identifier (Device ID)
Enter System Configuration mode
Select ‘Change Config’
Open the ‘General’ category by highlighting it and pressing ‘Enter’
Highlight ‘Device ID’ and press ‘Change Value’
Input your Device Identifier using the built in keyboard by moving the cursor around the keyboard with the softkeys. (Note – Two lines are shown as “Set Site ID” and “Set Device ID” – however this is one continuous string, up to 11 characters, that you can use to ID devices)
When done - Press ‘Return’ to go back to the configuration menu
