The AED 3 allows you to export all its settings (including all clinical and wireless settings) onto a USB flash drive to then import them on another AED 3. This essentially clones your devices and streamlines the deployment of any large quantity of AED 3’s. NOTE: you must have a USB 2.0 compatible flash drive to begin.
EXPORTING
- Enter the “Advanced Configuration” menu
- Insert your USB flash drive into the port on the back of the AED 3 above the battery by holding the protective cover away from the USB port.
- Select the “Export Files” icon.
- Select “Configuration” – a green check will appear next to your selected option.
- Press ‘Save (USB)’ to export the configuration file to your USB.
- You should see a “DATA TRANSFER COMPLETE” confirmation message appear.
- Press ‘OK’
- You can now safely remove your USB flash drive and power off this AED 3.
IMPORTING
- Enter the “Advanced Configuration” menu
- Insert your USB flash drive into the port on the back of the AED 3 above the battery by holding the protective cover away from the USB port.
- Select the “Import Files” icon.
- Select “Configuration” – a green check will appear next to your selected option.
- Press ‘OK’
- You should see a “FILES TRANSFERRED SUCCESSFULLY” confirmation message appear.
- Press ‘OK’
- You can now safely remove your USB flash drive and either power off this AED 3 or test any newly configured functions such as Wi-Fi data transfers
