AED 3 – Copy Clinical and Wireless Configurations

The AED 3 allows you to export all its settings (including all clinical and wireless settings) onto a USB flash drive to then import them on another AED 3. This essentially clones your devices and streamlines the deployment of any large quantity of AED 3’s. NOTE: you must have a USB 2.0 compatible flash drive to begin.

EXPORTING

  1. Enter the “Advanced Configuration” menu
  2. Insert your USB flash drive into the port on the back of the AED 3 above the battery by holding the protective cover away from the USB port.
  3. Select the “Export Files” icon.
  4. Select “Configuration” – a green check will appear next to your selected option.
  5. Press ‘Save (USB)’ to export the configuration file to your USB.
  6. You should see a “DATA TRANSFER COMPLETE” confirmation message appear.
  7. Press ‘OK’
  8. You can now safely remove your USB flash drive and power off this AED 3.

IMPORTING

  1. Enter the “Advanced Configuration” menu
  2. Insert your USB flash drive into the port on the back of the AED 3 above the battery by holding the protective cover away from the USB port.
  3. Select the “Import Files” icon.
  4. Select “Configuration” – a green check will appear next to your selected option.
  5. Press ‘OK’
  6. You should see a “FILES TRANSFERRED SUCCESSFULLY” confirmation message appear.
  7. Press ‘OK’
  8. You can now safely remove your USB flash drive and either power off this AED 3 or test any newly configured functions such as Wi-Fi data transfers
