ILCOR and AHA Seek Resuscitation and CPR Feedback

ILCOR

The International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and the American Heart Association invite the public to participate in the scientific discussion to develop the official consensus and treatment recommendations for CPR and ECC. ILCOR is now collecting public feedback on a variety of resuscitation topics, including CPR, Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Public comments will be accepted through February 4, 2010. The worksheets include published scientific evidence from relevant, peer-reviewed journals. The worksheets are currently being evaluated by experts from around the world.

The 2010 ILCOR evidence evaluation and science review process will culminate with a conference hosted by the American Heart Association in Dallas February 2-4, 2010.  This conference brings together international experts to evaluate and form an expert consensus on all published peer-reviewed CPR and ECC scientific studies, which will lead to new 2010 resuscitation guidelines.
