1939 Plymouth Brings Lifesaving Full Circle in Oregon

December 9, 2013 - The Tillamook Fire Department hopes a 1939 Plymouth Coupe will help them save more lives. Eight years ago, a donation from a local businessman helped the department purchase AED Plus® units. Months later, one of those automated external defibrillators was used to help save that businessman’s life. He recovered fully and never forgot the heroic efforts the department undertook to save his life.

39 Plymouth

The 1939 Plymouth coupe donated to Tillamook FD.

Now, that same man just donated a 1939 Plymouth coupe, which was auctioned off for $20,000, enabling the fire department to purchase its first AutoPulse® Non-invasive Cardiac Support Pump and four new AED Plus units.
