Job Summary

The technical service partner will provide support to major customer accounts for ZOLL's line of both ventilation and defibrillation products. The liaison will address reported complaints and provide support by working closely with training, quality and field service in order to provide direct problem resolution and outstanding support to our customers. The technical service partner will operate in a cross functional role in contact with sales, operations and service teams acting as a direct communication channel between the customer and ZOLL Medical.

Job Summary:

The technical service partner will provide support to major commercial/customer accounts for ZOLL’s line of both ventilation and defibrillation products.  The liaison will address reported complaints and provide support by working closely with training, quality and field service in order to provide direct problem resolution and outstanding support to our customers.  The technical service partner will operate in a cross functional role in contact with sales, operations and service teams acting as a direct communication channel between the customer and ZOLL Medical. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide technical customer relations management to specific large accounts of ZOLL Medical Corporation

  • Identify training and technical service gaps for ventilation and defibrillator lines in order to provide proactive support. 

  • Work closely with ZOLL’s strategic accounts in order to develop stronger relationships with key technical personnel.

  • Work closely with ZOLL Operations, Service and Sales to prioritize customer site visits, along with anticipating training needs.

  • Act as a technical SME on behalf of and in partnership with the sales teams. 

  • Attend commercial trade shows as a technical representative on behalf of ZOLL Medical. 

  • Work with customers to provide solutions, and problem resolution for reported complaints. 

  • Identify and address complaint trends across product lines for major accounts. 

  • Function as a SME on the subjects of preventive maintenance and repair. 

  • Open service requests in response to reported complaints. 

  • Work with engineering and quality teams to track failures and provide feedback from our customers. 

Skills Requirements:

  • Technical discipline or biomedical maintenance repair background strongly preferred. 

  • Valid Passport

  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. 

  • Previous experience in servicing ZOLL 731 Series ventilators, and ZOLL defibrillators. 

  • Excellent communication skills. 

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a technical role managing or servicing medical equipment. 

  • Background in clinical/biomedical engineering. 

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 5 years’ experience in a related field. 

  • Experience providing technical support on both ventilators and defibrillators. 

  • Experience in customer relations management. 

  • Experience working in quality assurance is preferred. 

Travel Requirements

  • 75% travel required

Salary for this position is $85K-$100K base salary annually. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
