Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and innovative software engineer who is passionate about building foundational and customer facing functionality leveraging AWS native services, C#, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Vue.js. As a senior software engineer, you will be an active member of the cross-functional agile team developing our core online platform functionality used by our cloud products and customers. You will be responsible for planning, architecture and developing features following best coding practices and delivering high-quality code while meeting quarterly and annual commitments. This position demands a self-motivated individual, capable of big picture thinking and excelling in a team environment.


What you’ll do:

  • Partner with dev and product managements on ideation and implementation of new product features and functionality
  • Work with the customers, stakeholders, UX, QA, support, and other engineers to create effective solutions for the customers
  • Assist Product Owner in generating functional & technical requirements
  • Knowledgeable and comfortable working in all aspects of a multi-tiered architecture including database, middle tier, presentation, and integration/service layers. 
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies
  • Orchestrate code reviews, pair programming, & knowledge transfer sessions
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations for improvements to features, functionality, architecture, design, and performance
  • Establish, follow, and implement engineering best practices in a team environment, staying up to date on the latest technical developments, and exhibiting interest in defining and prototyping the use of leading-edge technologies
  • Refactor code where appropriate to achieve readability, maintainability, and scalability
  • Write technical documentation as needed
  • Well-versed with continuous delivery and continuous integration concepts
  • Coordinates with the offshore development team(s), perform code & design reviews assist with QA


What you’ll need:

  • 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, developing web-based applications with progressing levels of responsibility
  • 3+ years of relational database experience
  • Ability to remain calm and steadfast when working directly with support teams and customers on high priority system issues
  • Concise, collaborative, and approachable communication style
  • Innovative and resourceful problem-solver, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement

Bonus points if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and Amazon native storage technologies
  • Experience with common automated testing frameworks (NUnit, MSTest, Selenium, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products including JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • OKTA experience
  • Healthcare domain experience
  • Web development experience using frameworks like React or Vue.js
  • DevOps CI/CD experience
  • Cloud technology experience

Salary for this position is $155,000-$175,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
