We are seeking Field Sales Associates (FSA) to join our sales organization.  This individual will assume overall accountability for lead generation and development including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals for Fire and EMS agencies completing under 5,000 transports annually.  In addition, the FSA will identify new opportunities for Data and Hardware sales in organizations completing 5,000 and over annual transports and report them to the Director, FSAs and ISOs for referral to assigned ZOLL Territory Managers. In this role, you will be compensated on a commission-only basis and the hours that you work are completely flexible with the stipulation that you must successfully close a minimum of four (4) transactions during each rolling twelve (12) month period.


Responsibilities

  • Possess a knowledge of the business and operational needs of the EMS community that are serviced by the products represented by Field Sales Associates
  • Develop a strong understanding of the functionality and business uses of emsCharts, Fire Reports, and ZOLL Billing
  • Gain an awareness of ZOLL’s competitors and the strengths and weaknesses of their product offerings. Work with Sales and Product Management to leverage ZOLL’s value proposition in light of this information
  • Develop assigned sales territory actively and conscientiously, exclusively representing ZOLL/emsCharts products and This includes networking within the EMS community, prospect identification, lead generation, qualification of prospects, and working with Sales support personnel and sales engineers as appropriate to advance the sales process
  • Actively network wherever and whenever possible with various trade organizations to promote awareness of our products and services in the assigned territory
  • Document all results of prospecting, sales, and customer contact to report to the Director of Field Sales
  • Attain a minimum of four (4) transactions per rolling twelve (12) month period
  • Participation at certain trade shows may be requested and if it is, it will be compensated at an hourly rate plus expenses
  • Travel is anticipated to be occasional and is voluntary

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in EMS, hospital, or equivalent or 5+ years’ experience in software sales
  • Well connected in the EMS or Fire industry  
  • The ability to understand the business value of our products and to represent them to potential customers
  • Professional demeanor and good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately report upon anticipated sales
  • Commitment to complete 4 product sales annually

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Knowledgeable of ZOLL and/or emsCharts products
  • Strong supporter of ZOLL or emsCharts
