Business Analyst - International

Job Summary:

The junior level Business Analyst will support ZOLL’s home office based International Sales Operations team, supporting Global Order Management and Global Inventory Management functions. This BA assists in data management deliverables such as research, information analysis, presentation of findings, and assists in recommending changes and/or supporting implementation of business/process changes based on various factors to serve decision support needs, solve problems and improve business outcomes.

This position will provide experience working with reporting/analytics projects supporting Global Order Management and Global Inventory Management functions, while working with established data sources (e.g. Data Warehouse, Oracle) and packaged software (e.g. Crystal Reports and Tableau).

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the International Sales Operations leadership to develop, document, and refine how we monitor, measure and report on our International Operations globally.

  • Creation of new and maintenance of existing KPIs, dashboards and reports used for business decision support and process improvement for International Sales Operations functions

  • Facilitate business and systems analysis discussions, and translate findings into clearly defined Business Requirements Documents for Senior Director International Sales Operations

  • Support the research, design, configuration, test, documentation and manage implementation of system changes within the international region.

  • Support development of validation test plans, user and system procedures and training materials for reports supporting the International business.

  • Serve as a liaison between International sales operations and logistics/supply chain teams and IT; interface with all major business groups to implement consistent business models

  • Identify process and systems improvement opportunities that assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives.

  • Support implementation of reporting standards while leveraging best practices and professional experiences

  • Provide cross location support for project management and training involving process improvement projects

  • Identify and communicate areas for opportunity to promote efficiency in business processes

  • Analyzes information to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and insights using descriptive analytics.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of business analyst experience (preferably international sales operations)

  • Data mining and report creation experience

  • Ability to design and configure solutions based on changing business needs including development of requirements

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Ability to articulate and promote Reporting/Decision Support standards and methodologies.

  • Experience working in a multi-org, multi-site environment.

  • Presentation experience preferred

  • Ability to work cross functionally

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Potential travel maybe needed- for future business needs

Education and Requirements:

•BS is required (Business, IT, MIS, IE or equivalent experience is preferred)
 

Preferred Skills:

•Experience with Oracle 11i or greater

•Experience with Salesforce

•Experience with Tableau and/or Tableau Prep a plus

•Experience writing and/or reading SQL queries
