Service Business Development Specialist

Travel circa 50% in Italy and SE Europe

Some presence in the Piacenza office will be required

Purpose of the Job

Primarily responsible for the research and identification of service revenue opportunities within our market segments. This position is also responsible for proactively approaching and securing service revenue opportunities and the development of customer relationships to support further growth. The owner of the position will have to demonstrate supervision, initiative and strong relationships with all areas of the business and work in close collaboration with customer and technical service colleagues, both locally and within the ZOLL corporation.

Job Dimension

  • Responsible for service contracts and post-equipment
  • Identify, research and prepare contract quote as well as communicate with prospective customers
  • Extended warranty of new business: Promote service contracts to customers with i.e., factory warranty or a lapse in warranty
  • Training: Promote training classes to eligible customers
  • Regular written structured reporting, and completion of management reporting tools
  • Coordinating processes, schedules and billing for customer technical training and services
  • To provide feedback to the Technical Service Manager in case of any problems, solutions or opportunities
  • Customer Care / Meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction targets
  • Reporting special incidents to the manager and QA team
  • Close cooperation with other European Tech Service departments and Headquarters
  • Supporting the development of processes for continuous improvement in quality, in the own area of responsibility

Education & Knowledge Requirements

  • Bachelor degree and 3 years in business dev and service environment, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in a matrix organisation advantageous
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Ability to work under own initiative, setting and achieving targets
  • Customer interfacing skills
  • Ability to set priorities and activity to deadlines
  • Proficient with CRMS tools e.g Oracle or similar
  • Driver's license class B
