Job Summary:

The incumbent will use their significant Human Resources experience to cover all aspects on human capital matters, internally and externally. You will be designing Human Resources strategies to provide solutions to meet business goals. 

Essential Functions:

General

  • Scale up and refine our processes to ensure best practices are implemented and establish a great employee journey
  • Input to and roll-out talent initiatives for the APAC team
  • Work on programs to drive employee engagement and inspire a high performance work culture with employee satisfaction
  • Ensure all internal initiatives are managed and implemented accordingly
  • Advise on and monitor/assess salary levels, rewards and benefits in relation to the industry
  • Ensures all record keeping is complete, up to date and accurate

HR Business Partnering

  • Develop strong relationships with the APAC team to understand and identify human resource and talent needs across, recruiting, retention and succession planning
  • Maintain knowledge and analyse trends in compensation and benefits, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law
  • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service in relation to employee relations matters; manage issues through to resolution
  • Anticipate and investigate people related issues and report on findings with recommendations, taking into account best practice, law, policies and precedent, coach and support management accordingly
     

Employee Relations

  • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service in relation to employee relations matters; manage issues through to resolution
  • Anticipate and investigate people related issues and report on findings with recommendations, taking into account best practice, law, policies and precedent; coach and support management accordingly
     

Employee Engagement

  • Oversee (with continual review and enhancement of) the on-boarding and induction process for all new starters, ensuring a smooth introduction
  • Ensure regular feedback sessions with new and existing team members to proactively recommend areas of improvement and ensure consistent engagement
  • Review benefits - make recommendations accordingly to ensure competitiveness
  • Contribute to, and roll-out, engagement initiatives created with the Global HR team

Reporting, operations, and analysis

  • Identify useful ad-hoc reports and/or analysis to help drive people related programmes
  • Ensure regular audits of the server files and HR platform to ensure that all documentation is present and that information is accurate.

Skill Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • HRIS System knowledge – Workday, preferred
  • Strong ethics & professional integrity required
  • Organised, results-oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented, independent, and hardworking
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to excel with limited supervision, but willing and able to seek advice and guidance as and when required.
  • Able to work independently and in a team, responsible and positive work attitude
  • Willingness to take ownership of task assigned and strive for continuous improvement
  • Strong sense of teamwork and willing to help across different business functions when required

Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:

  • University Degree in Business, Human Resource Management or its equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, required
  • Experienced in leading a team
  • Experienced in the APAC region
  • Relevant background experience that would benefit incumbent in this role, preferred

Language:

  • Bilingual in English and Local language

Travel Requirements:

  • Willing to travel occasionally (approximately 10% – 20%)
