Primary PurposeResponsible for the receipt of all delivered materials utilizing Oracle ERP system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

  • Verify box and pallet counts match paperwork and check all delivered material for damage

  • Sign for “as damaged” on paperwork and visually document damage if found; notify the driver and forward visual documentation to Quality and Purchasing for evaluation and further action

  • Verify quantities, lot numbers and correctness of materials against purchase orders, packing slips and certificates of compliance

  • Resolve any discrepancies found with Purchasing

  • Receive all material, both inventory and non-inventory in Oracle ERP

  • Match Oracle Travelers with proper support paperwork and forward

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide backup/support to other Warehouse positions/personnel as needed

  • Perform special projects and work toward continuous improvement

  • Resolve Purchasing, Quality and Accounts Payable receiving issues and problems

  • Communicate the receipt of expedited materials to In-Coming Inspection, Purchasing and Production

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Competencies:

  • Ability to enter data accurately and retrieve data from ERP system

  • Demonstrated ability to process paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

  • Experienced with forklift operation

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Valid state driver’s license

  • Strong interpersonal/interdepartmental support skills

  • Well organized, motivated and ability to work independently

Education/Training/Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Two-to-four years of experience in a related position

  • Two years of hands-on experience with ERP inventory control data bases

  • Ability to perform receipt transactions accurately
