Overview

This position is responsible for field clinical support, including identifying, communicating, and implementing the company's clinical research functions. Key functions include collaboration with all other company functions, including Regulatory and Clinical Affairs, Product Development, Quality Systems, and Marketing, towards successful product development and initial product introduction with global perspective, daily interaction with key hospital staff in the U.S. and internationally, towards conducting productive and timely investigational studies, for purposes of pre- and post-market submission review and approval.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementation of clinical programs to maximize clinic study
  • Actively train and support clinical study sites through virtual and in-person sessions. Be responsible for the planning and coordination of clinical study site device training and support activities.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials for field clinical use of ZOLL Circulation products, including temperature management systems and TherOx technology.
  • Provide training for company field clinical support personnel as well as clinical site personnel on clinical study parameters and product use and
  • As required, provide remote on-demand technical support for clinical staff via telephone and/or
  • Support pre-clinical test plans as key components of product development programs and as required support subsequent animal and clinical
  • As required have regular communications with key consultants, physicians and other experts to support the optimal use of TherOx devices in the clinical setting.
  • Provide input to marketing and product development teams on usability issues of the product and associated clinical procedure(s).
  • Coordinate manufacturing product support requirements for patient evaluation studies, including shipment and inventory of clinical product in the
  • Initiate a collaborative approach to projects enabling multiple-direction communications and task executions with easy-going, open-minded

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering discipline, and/or relevant experience in cardiovascular setting
  • Cardiovascular pathophysiology and/or interventional cardiovascular medicine
  • 6+ years required Cardiovascular device industry, specifically with clinical research
  • Responsibility Outstanding communication (especially verbal) skills
  • Seasoned understanding of medical device clinical processes
  • Travel: Moderate to frequent, approximately 65%-70%
