Position Summary:  The IT Applications Developer will serve as the primary technical contact/developer for Brightree application integration, API maintenance and development, and help with other enterprise applications such as ERP/ MES/DMS/Salesforce.com development and integration projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the project managers and functional users to monitor and execute assigned project activities.
  • Participate in project planning, design, implementation, integration, and testing/validation of Brightree and other applications to ensure that system configurations align with business requirements.
  • Develop end-to-end test plans and test scripts and prepare test data that are consistent with business goals and objectives and provide testing progress reports.
  • Develop data maps to assist with conversion and manipulation of data from a legacy system to Brightree.
  • Develop and implement related applications' integration components, including front-end development, server-side development and database integration.
  • Provide technical guidance and collect user/business requirements and translate them into configuration activities.
  • Log, analyze, and troubleshoot reported system issues/defects, and work with internal/external resources to resolve support issues.
  • Develop reports for ad-hoc analysis and business reporting and prepare management reports as requested. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Educations and/or Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, equivalent technical degree; or combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle as well as IT and PM best practices.
  • Proficient in writing tSQL.
  • Hands-on experience in C# .NET/ Core /MVC
  • Experience working with legacy .NET Web Forms as well as modern .NET Web API
  • Solid understanding of API design, particularly principles of REST in highly scalable environments

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices, Quality System Regulation, HIPPA, and other regulatory requirements a plus.
  • Brightree or similar DME billing systems working experience required. Experience implementing or maintaining a billing system is preferred.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
