Job Summary:

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst – Code Data is a seasoned and collaborative individual with knowledge and experience in manual and automated testing of UI applications and API/data exchange services and tools.  This individual is a mentor and leader within the QA discipline that has a passion for Agile development.  Thrives on improving quality in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from the creation of requirements to the delivery to the end user and everything in between.  Their focus is on automated testing but is comfortable with using manual techniques where required to achieve quality.  The Senior QA Analyst is a passionate champion and advocate for continuing to improve QA practices while effectively balancing the delivery of valuable features to our customer base.

Essential Functions:

  • Creating and maintaining test plans
  • Creating, maintaining, and executing manual test cases using ZOLL's test case management system
  • Contributing to automated test suite
  • Understanding, verifying, and effectively communicating product requirements
  • Ensuring product is deployable and maintainable when delivered to our customers
  • Assisting with product documentation, following QMS processes
  • Attending daily SCRUM meetings
  • Collaborating with development team to find and resolve defects within the sprint
  • Reproducing, documenting, and verifying resolution of customer/field reported issues
  • Using VMware and/or AWS to setup and maintain test environments

Skills Requirements:

  • Proactive and demonstrates ownership in solving problems and seeking input from teammates
  • Communicates openly and honestly and respects the variety of personality styles that make up the team
  • Adapts easily to solve new problems or change directions as needed
  • Balances “head’s down testing” time with active collaboration/problem solving discussions with the team
  • Able to manage confidential information with appropriate discretion and judgement

Required Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience using manual and automated testing techniques for both UI and data/api level testing
  • Automated testing experience with at least one automated testing framework. (e.g. Selenium, Appium/WinAppDriver, CodedUI, etc.)

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience testing critical, high volume, big data applications that scale
  • Experience working with and testing applications that are deployed in the public cloud, leverage NoSQL Database Systems, employ microservices and/or containerization
  • Experience with security testing best practices
  • 2-3+ years healthcare technology experience
