Rework Specialist

Location: Chelmsford, MA

Job Summary:

Performs a wide variety of rework and repairs to electronic and electromechanical assemblies of difficult to complex nature.

Essential Functions:

  • Using their training and experience along with available documentation, such as schematics, ECO's, procedures and manuals, determine method and sequence of rework and repair.

  • Perform operations on assembly and sub-assembly such as rework, repair, wiring, component removal/ installation and hand soldering

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

  • Must be IPC soldering certified, or able to pass an IPC Soldering certification test.

  • Must be able to read and understand assembly documentation, schematics and/or wire lists.

  • Must be able to use, small hand tools and soldering /disordering equipment.

  • Must be familiar with general computer operation.

  • QSR experience a plus

Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High School / Trade School Graduate (Electronics major) or equivalent work experience

  • 6+ years of related experience
