Job Summary

ZOLL Medical Corporation has an exciting new opportunity for a Manager, NA Public Safety Sales Training.  This dynamic role will own and execute the design, planning and delivery of our onboarding and continuous learning programs for the company’s public safety and alternate care products and services. The role will equip the sales organization, which include direct ZOLL sales team members and business partners and distributors, with the content and training needed to maximize their success by conducting in-person training to meet and exceed sales revenue goals.

Essential Functions/Primary Objectives

  • Oversee NA Public Safety Sales training program
  • Conduct ongoing sales training to sales team members
  • Track, document and evaluate program effectiveness through meaningful metrics
  • Research training methodologies, learning tools and sales practices; incorporating best practices into training program
  • Incorporate 95 Share Marketing methodologies throughout training program
  • Remain current on product trends both within ZOLL and among competitors


Essential Position Duties (typically Monthly, Weekly, Daily Tasks)

Oversee all NA Public Safety Sales training program

  • Design and deliver sales training programs, including e-learning solutions where applicable, for remote team members.
  • Determine training needs by traveling with the Sales Reps and observing their day to day business activities.
  • Research and develop an expert understanding of the products and solutions our company provides, specific to the public safety and alternate care division.
  • Identify best in class training delivery options to support the remote sales organization for continuous learning.
  • Build and maintain continuous training to support learning and accreditation in support of professional growth – ensure our sales team members have the knowledge, expertise and confidence to deliver sales quota and division revenue goals.

Conduct ongoing sales training to sales team members

  • Coordinate and schedule regular sales training for sales team members as needed or determined by management.
  • Train the sales team on how to explain complex product information to non-technical audiences.
  • Educate sales team on technical selling skills as part of sales training programs and initiatives.
  • Administer training exercises in support of successful communications of product portfolio.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences as determined to assist in product education
     

Track, document, and evaluate program effectiveness through meaningful metrics.

  • Design training tracking systems to support continuous learning.
  • Create tracking metrics to assess the value of delivered training.
  • Assess the training participant’s sales competencies.

Research training methodologies, learning tools, and sales practices.

  • Maximize training by researching the best learning methodologies.
  • Research and recommend learning tools/e-learning.
  • Collaborate with sales management for training topic priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to create best in class sales training initiatives aligned with regional strategies
  • Incorporate 95% Share Training methodologies throughout training program.

Remain current on product trends both within the organization and among competitors.

  • Stay current on industry trends for proactive training.
  • Research competitor trends to support sales training goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to stay informed on up-coming product enhancements.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in related position.
  • Minimum of Six (6) years of sales training and enablement experience
  • Prior experience using Salesforce is required.
  • Medical device and Distribution experience a plus
