Job Summary:        The Human Resources Representative supports all aspects of Human Resources in the areas of recruitment & selection, training and development, and special projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Complies with federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Conducts recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel; responsible for the full life cycle of company-wide recruiting to include the hiring of new employees as well as internal job moves.

  • Partners with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs, job requirements and determine offer structures. Works with hiring managers developing interview questions consistent with the position and coach them through the hiring process.

  • Secures external candidates through networking, web-based job sites, career centers, and college recruiting and third-party vendors.

  • Provides support to managers in recruiting and staffing temporary personnel.

  • Maintains, updates and promotes employee career development within the Organization by utilizing internal job posting system, external websites and the ZOLL Website.

  • Maintains applicant tracking system by entering resumes and requisition information; routing or rejecting resumes.

  • Conducts employee exit interviews.

  • Administers Employee Referral System.

  • Maintains Temporary Personnel Log.

  • Interacts with managers in updating and maintaining current job descriptions.

  • Assists in the preparation and delivery of various training and development presentations to employees and management.

  • Provides administrative support with company Unemployment program.

  • Provides HRIS backup support as needed.

  • Provides backup support to the HR Generalist in the area of Leaves of Absence as needed.

  • Works on special projects relating to the development/modification of HR programs and procedures.

Skill Requirements:

  • Effective working knowledge of Recruiting, Employment law, Employee Leave of Absences, HRIS and Applicant tracking systems.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.

  • Must be well organized and possess the ability to multitask.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Professional Certification in Human Resources (SHRM-CP) desired.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
