Job Summary:

Provide Day to Day supervision to achieve goals of the master production schedule, thru hands on involvement

Essential Functions:

  • Direct the distribution and monitor the daily input and outputs of the group (Line efficiency, Daily Production Attainment). Minimize overtime and justify when needed. Maintain capacity Plan monthly and ensure materials are on the production line and used FIFO
  • Identify product quality problems and institute solutions thru product, process or procedural changes including employee workmanship problems
  • Liaison with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance to support failure resolution and reviews product support documentation.
  • Maintain Employee training records and ensure adequate cross training is in place to ensure coverage as necessary
  • Ensure employee compliance with all Company and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure completeness of Employees weekly time and activity sheets including monitoring employee on time status
  • Track employee weekly productivity and move staff around as appropriate to meet production demand
  • Develop and maintain tools to track repair quality and preventative maintenance needs
  • Provide procedural guidance to less senior employees as necessary.
  • Write Employee reviews. Conduct employee's reviews. Document employee issues into personnel file as appropriate. Hiring as needed.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned

Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent Oral and Written communications skill
  • Must be able to read and understand diagnostic data.
  • Must be able to read and understand Technical schematics.
  • Must be able to setup and use test equipment.

Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with six (6) + years of experience preferred or
  • Associate's degree with eight (8) + years of experience desired or
  • High School degree required with ten (10) +years of experience
  • Minimum of 6 years Electrical, Electro Mechanical and I or Technical Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a group leader or equivalent position
  • Experience with common office programs accent on Databases and spreadsheet QSR experience a plus
