This individual is responsible for the assignment and support of work flow and training of the Reorder department to ensure timely processing of renewal medical orders. This individual also performs and supports quality reviews and resolution of all associated tasks. 


  • Provide and coordinate training as needed and ensure all staff are trained to properly execute their job responsibilities.
  • Perform quality review, and provide coaching to drive improvement and continued success.
  • Create, update and enforce all team standards and procedures
  • Work with employees to provide coaching and feedback and to address any areas for improvement
  • Facilitate the obtaining of updated clinical documents to include in submission of authorizations
  • Coordinate with the Sales field on alignment and physician contact
  • Act as the point of contact for issues of moderate complexity relative to the renewal medical order process
  • Assign workload to Reorder staff effectively provide coverage for all teams as necessary (orders, exceptions, faxes)
  • Perform all regular Reorder Specialist duties as dictated by the needs of the business and ensure timely completion
  • Ensure all medical orders get billed in a timely manner to maximize revenue opportunities, increase cash flow
  • Monitor HIPAA compliance within department
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve processes along with aiding in the implementation of those changes
  • Responsible for creating and documenting SOP’s for department use
  • Performs other duties as directed by Management


  • Associates/Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with medical insurance.
  • A minimum of 1 year supervisory or lead experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an intermediate knowledge level of Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong and creative problem solving skills and adaptability
  • Experience leading meetings and creating training documents
  • Experience coaching for both improvement and success

Language Skills:  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills :  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
