Collections Operations Revenue Specialist

The Cardiac Management Solutions division of ZOLL Medical Corporation develops products to protect and manage cardiac patients, including the LifeVest® wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD), the ZOLL cardiac monitor, and associated technologies.

Position Summary:

  • Work directly with the Collections Operations Manager and team, to assist and monitor process patterns and improvement opportunities (i.e. Revenue and Non-Revenue impacting adjustments and creating claims, Documentation Exceptions to the field, assist with LVN report monitoring, etc)
  • Assist with Month End and Segment End Processes to optimize revenue opportunities prior to close
  • Assist and respond to inquiries from the field regarding revenue impacting questions associated to any revenue impacting adjustments completed by the Operations Team.
  • Provide project support to Collections Operations, Management and other internal customers as needs arise
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish work goals and identify potential process gaps
  • Assist with month end functions and adjustment projects as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Educations and/or Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field preferred.
  • 2-3 Years of Project management experience
  • Superior communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines                                                              

Language Skills:  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
