The Cardiac Management Solutions division of ZOLL Medical Corporation develops products to protect and manage cardiac patients, including the LifeVest® wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD), the ZOLL cardiac monitor, and associated technologies.

Position Summary:  The BI/SSRS Developer is responsible for working with vendors, the business applications team, and customers to design, architect, and implement enterprise-level data structure reports, dashboards, and business solutions for large, multidimensional databases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define/recommend vision and technical principles for data within our BI platforms
  • Cooperate with other team members in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of best-practice Data Warehousing solutions
  • Develop and promote for standards used within BI, including Data Warehouse(DW) best practices and design patterns, frameworks and templates, naming conventions, and coding standards
  • Evaluate system performance and make technical recommendations to resolve any performance issues related to SSRS and BI solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

Essentials Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related fields, or 3+ years of equivalent experience
  • Expert knowledge of BI tools including tSQL and MS BI Stack: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
  • Proven working knowledge of using PowerBI, DAX, and M
  • Proficiency with SQL Server Report Builder and Crystal Reports or similar reporting applications

Advantageous:

  • Working experience as a .NET Developer or ERP Application Developer
  • Experience in building Web services and familiarity with Node, jQuery, Angular, and REST
  • Experience in building automation solutions using PowerShell
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, HIPPA, etc.)

Language Skills:   Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:   Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:   Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
