Job Summary:

Position will provide direct support to Credit Manager.  Analyzes customer credit worthiness, compiles credit data, interprets financial statements, and determines extension of credit.  Approve credit, revenue recognition and payment terms for purchase orders established thresholds.   Responsible for New Customer Set-ups, Customer Maintenance, and assisting with corporate quarterly cash receipts forecasting as well as A/R and terms analysis.  Compiles documentation for quarterly and annual audits with external auditors.  Direct sales team and customer service interface will require the ability to engage and communicate constructively and effectively to fulfill customer needs.  Assists with cash application.  This position must follow strict Financial Quality Control guidelines.  

Essential Functions:

  • Account set-up and maintenance
  • Credit and purchase order review and analysis
  • Contacting customers regarding delinquent accounts and negotiating payment plans as warranted
  • Revenue recognition support
  • Cash application support
  • Assist with quarterly and annual audits with external auditors
  • Special projects as needed

Skill Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years relevant credit experience, preferably with medical equipment
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Working knowledge of financial advisory reports (D&B, NACM)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent
