Job Summary:

ZOLL Medical is a global leader in acute critical care and resuscitation products. Our products are used every day to provide life-saving critical care. The “Code Data” product portfolio provides critical tools that help clinicians better manage patients and deployed devices. These products include:

  • RescueNet CaseReview – Provides clinicians with tools for post-case data analysis for continuous quality improvement programs.
  • RescueNet 12-Lead – A communications tool that provides secure transmission of 12-lead ECG data to hospitals and healthcare providers.
  • Software Developer Kit (SDK) – A tool that facilitates communication between 3rd party documentation systems and ZOLL’s medical devices.
  • Defibrillator Dashboard™ — Provides a comprehensive view of the code-readiness of deployed ZOLL defibrillators.
  • RescueNet CodeNet — A mobile (Android/iOS) documentation system to help hospitals document cases and drive continuous quality improvement programs.

The Sr. Product Manager for the Code Data portfolio is responsible for the product line vision and creation of a development roadmap for the portfolio. This is an upstream marketing role, responsible for life cycle management of the product portfolio.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide portfolio leadership and vision
    • Successfully define and deliver products that anticipate the needs of the marketplace.
    • Develop and manage product portfolio roadmaps based on a deep understanding of customer, market, and business needs.
    • Craft impactful business models and present recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Guide product development to ensure market & business needs are met
      • Act as the product expert for assigned product, staying fluent in the clinical needs and product use cases across various markets.
      • Be the Voice of the Customer for the product portfolio, developing customer requirements and proposing new product concepts.
      • Support Product Owners and development teams to ensure that VoC and market/business needs are considered during the development process.
    • Drive alignment of Code Data within the Resuscitation business
      • Work proactively and collaboratively with all stakeholders, both internal and external, to communicate market needs, product value, and global strategies for the portfolio.
      • Coordinate with product managers, market managers, and Product Owners to ensure integration requirements are successfully communicated and implemented.
      • Ensure continuous alignment around project timelines and expectations between project team members and management.
      • Drive the team to timely and effective execution against established projects and priorities.
    • Help to drive the success of the Code Data portfolio
      • Assist in the development of business plans that grow the market opportunity for the Code Data portfolio.
      • Analyze competitive offerings to identify differentiators for ZOLL.
      • Build relationships with global SDK partners as needed to support the overall ZOLL business.

Skills Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.
  • Ability to turn technical information into meaningful sales and customer messaging.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
  • Proven track record of developing & maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent, complex projects/tasks.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development a plus
  • Experience with Cloud technology and SaaS products a plus
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and social skills.
  • Experience working in a geographically diverse, matrixed organization a plus

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business/Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience with similar product/software offerings in a product management capacity
  • Healthcare data experience preferred.

Other Requirements

  • Individual must be willing to travel up to 30% of time, both domestically as well as internationally.
  • Individual must be able to work in a clinical environment to view product use and procedures and to support customer visits.
