Job Summary:

Technical Service Repair Depot Supervisor will provide Day to Day supervision of the Repair Depot Group thru Group Leader's and hands on involvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Excellent Oral and Written communications skills.
  • Direct the distribution and monitor the daily input and outputs.
  • Allocation of personnel to ensure equitable distribution of work while maximizing the effective use of available personnel.
  • Must be able to read and understand diagnostic data and understand Technical schematics.
  • Identity problems and institute solutions thru procedural changes.
  • Work with Business group to ensuring accurate repair estimates and repair details.
  • Maintain Employee training records
  • Ensure compliance with all Company and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure completeness of Employees weekly time and activity sheets.
  • Track employee weekly productivity
  • Develop and maintain tools to track repair quality
  • Provide procedural/ Technical guidance to technicians.
  • Provide guidance to employees on the review (PDR) process. Conduct employee's reviews.
  • Provide budgetary inputs to Repair Depot Manger.
  • Collaborate with Technical Support, Contracts, QA, Manufacturing and other departments as required to bring resolutions to customer returns.
  • Direct involvement with staffing of department (interviewing, hiring and firing)
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned

Skill Requirements:

  • 6 or more years of related experience.
  • Proficient in most common PC based applications (Microsoft Office Suite.)
  • Computer literate, familiar with Oracle, Camstar and Agile a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO9000, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with FDA QSR regulations a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, BSEE is preferred.
