Software Developer III

We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and innovative software developer who is passionate about building web applications, APIs, and data integrations.  As a software developer for the AR Boost product, you will be an active member of a cross-functional agile team, following best coding practices and delivering high-quality code while meeting sprint commitments.  This senior position will work closely with AR Boost’s architect to develop, implement, and maintain our API Management solution that will help drive the future of our product.

What you’ll do:

• Participate in all aspects of product delivery, including planning, design, development, code reviews, testing and support.

• Work with the Product team and stakeholders to create effective solutions.

• Deliver clean and concise code that is stable, extensible, well-tested, and meets acceptance criteria, production requirements, and design specifications.

• Evaluate and provide recommendations for improvements to features, functionality, architecture, design, and performance.

• Adhere and contribute to established ZOLL engineering standards for software development, database access, documentation, and automation.

• Refactor code where appropriate to achieve readability, maintainability, and scalability.

• Work with the AR Boost architect to design and implement an API Management Solution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technology field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience in a professional software development environment working with relational databases.

• 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining APIs.

• Experience in API Management Solutions such as API Gateway or Apigee.

• Experience with Splunk, Logstash, etc.

• Demonstrated expertise in .Net, C#, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Agile development principles.

• Strong desire to understand the business problems that our technology is created to solve.

• Concise, collaborative, and approachable communication style.

• Innovative and resourceful problem-solver, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.

Bonus points if you have:

• API Management implementation experience.

• Familiarity with Atlassian products including Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.

• Healthcare domain experience.

• AWS Certifications.

Salary for this position is $100K-$125K base salary annually.
