Job Summary

Support's planning and scheduling activities according to monthly production plans. Provides supportive leadership roles, such as running departmental metric reports and training other personnel in Incoming Inspection and Final QA functions.

Essential Functions

  • Plan and delegate activities according to production schedules.
  • Works with the Supervisor/Group Leader in ensuring inspection activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining acceptable quality levels for products and processes according to ISO13485, QSR and ZOLL Standard Practices.
  • Review quality documentation files such as, Device History Records (DHR) and Inspection History Records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in providing training within Incoming Inspection and Final QA areas.
  • Interface with other functions/departments to provide support in developing continuous improvement techniques for new and existing products.
  • Initiates MRR’s (Material Receipt Report) for nonconforming material, works with manufacturing to contain product.
  • Perform inspection/testing duties as required to maintain daily production levels.
  • Performs assessment of current processes to determine if additional or new equipment is needed or if processes need to be changed.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4+ years’ experience in a related position, preferably in a Medical Device Environment. required
  • IPC 610 or IPC 620 IPC-A-610D for Incoming Inspection Preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read specifications, procedures and engineering drawings.
  • Strong know how in use of mechanical and electrical test equipment.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Oracle and MES.


Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
