Job Summary
The Billing Product Manager is responsible for directing the design, implementation, and release of products to the market. This includes creating an empowered environment by partnering with UX and product engineering in understanding customers’ problems, quickly prototyping and testing assumptions with customers, and creating the necessary documentation that support customers’ needs and our portfolio’s strategic vision. You must have a passion for solving customer problems and thrive in a fast-paced, Agile Scrum product team. This includes driving towards company financial goals, evaluating the current competitive landscape, changing market trends, and evolving ecosystem to drive roadmaps focused on growth. The ideal candidate will be a strong strategic thinker who enjoys spending time in the market to understand our customers and their desired business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Senior Product Manager and Engineering Manager to ensure alignment of product release plans and execution to mid and long-term vision for the portfolio.
Manage the product and release backlog, develop and prioritize user stories with detailed acceptance criteria, support team activities in an Agile Scrum framework
Partner with product engineering and UX to creatively solve customer problems and make strategic design decisions and ensure that overall functionality of the finished product delivers value and exceptional user experience
Work closely with customers and focus groups to understand the market problems in detail and to gather feedback regarding product direction
Gather input from clients and internal stakeholders to create product strategy and set direction and priority.
Organize and lead customer advisory groups.
Define and manage portfolio product roadmaps and release plans that support the portfolio and company vision.
Understand and be able to communicate desired buyer and user outcomes and their associated business values.
Analyze competitive offerings to identify differentiators for ZOLL.
Complete Win/Loss analysis to glean insight and drive action from previous sales experience.
Effectively communicate the value of the portfolio, and the products within it, to internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with other product managers (both within and across portfolios) to ensure integration requirements are successfully implemented.
Develop and implement new product introduction (NPI) and go-to-market strategy, plans, and content with cross-functional teams and leaders.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years in software technology organizations.
2+ years acting as Product Manager - Pragmatic Marketing certification a plus.
EMS/Fire/Healthcare experience.
Experience delivering solutions in Digital Health and Healthcare IT space a plus.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. MBA is a plus.
Experience working with commercial software in SaaS environments
Proven cross-functional leadership.
Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L
Excellent technical and analytical skills.
Solution and team-oriented with the ability to collaborate, build trust, and influence others within a matrix organization.
Strong organizational skills
Self-motivated, able to proactively work toward goals independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 20%
Salary for this position is $100K-$120K base salary annually. In addition, this also includes a performance-based bonus of $10K. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
