Job Summary:

Based on management priorities, works with minimal supervision, to assemble and debug complex electro- mechanical production test systems. Facilitate the acquisition of materials required for assembly and production support of test equipment. Support test equipment preventive maintenance and calibration requirements by scheduling and/or performing inspections and maintenance as needed. Update assembly documentation including schematics, Bills of Material and wire-run list as needed to ensure test equipment design documentation is maintained. Perform validation of test systems and fixtures in support of the company's regulatory requirements. Assist production personnel, as required, in problem resolution on released test systems. Has no direct reports and generally receives work direction from the Test Development Lab Lead I Supervisor or Manager.

Skill Requirements:

  • Troubleshooting of analog, digital and high-voltage circuits. Includes computer­ based systems.
  • Strong electro-mechanical skills, to include the reading and interpretation of schematics and mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes, assembly and electronics test technology.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with test development and production personnel.
  • Proficient in most common PC based applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Understanding of software troubleshooting tools available in LabVIEW and TestStand, a plus.
  • Familiarity with FDA QSR documentation a plus.

Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a technical school diploma, ASEE preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a production test and an electro-mechanical assembly environment including ICT, Functional Test and Reliability Test (HALT, HASS).
  • Certification in IPC soldering techniques a plus.
