Data Management

The Sales Development Specialist receives and qualifies inquiries from various sources including marketing campaigns, website forms, call-ins, tradeshow lists, webinar registrations, and other requests channels. This position will also perform prospecting, calling, and development functions to help Sales Reps and Inside Sales build opportunity pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Initial point-of-contact for inbound leads
  • Follow up with inbound leads to determine if they are a qualified lead (as defined by Sales)
  • When applicable, introduce leads to other solutions and resources that could be of value
  • All communication, documentation and follow-up is managed within the customer relationship management (CRM) system (i.e., SalesForce)
  • Hand qualified leads to appropriate sales managers and determine follow-up schedule
  • Create weekly reports for management on total calls and qualified leads
  • Track all qualified leads to closed deals for closed-loop reporting
  • Ability to generate and present reports to multiple levels of sales team
  • Identify other avenues for prospecting and sales development for sales reps
  • Transition non-sales inquiries to the proper internal teams

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years inside sales experience with B2B solutions.
  • Excellent phone skills; communications skills
  • Track record of successful inside sales results: # of calls made per day; number of qualified leads generated from prospecting activities
  • Experience with SaaS software solution selling
  • Demonstrated ability to remain focused in a multi-tasking environment
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills 
  • Experience with SalesForce and HubSpot (marketing automation platform)
  • Experience with Website Visitor ID software (Lead Forensics a plus)
  • People-oriented, confident and understands complex software and technology
  • Intelligence level that allows the person to quickly gain knowledge of a new industry, prospect business challenges, and technical solutions
  • A sense of urgency; highly responsive and customer service-focused
  • Experience in the EMS industry a plus 

Base pay for the position is $42,000 annually with commission opportunity of an additional $28k.
