Job Summary:
The Clinical Specialist, EMS will be responsible for the development and execution of all clinical initiatives associated with the EMS marketplace. The position is also responsible for clinical support and training associated with new marketing programs.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate and conduct aspects of ZOLL Clinical Marketing programs for EMS
- Develops and manages clinical support materials for the sales team and end users including webinars, newsletters, clinical papers, and white papers
- Serves as the clinical expert as it relates to resuscitation, TBI, critical care support including but not limited to AHA guidelines, clinical practice and translational research as well as clinical data product development.
- Provides the clinical perspective to EMS product development and works closely with APAC ALS managers to ensure a high degree of clinical accuracy in communications and programs.
- Collects, analyzes and maintains the clinical article database and communicates important publications to coworkers and the field sales organization and where appropriate, customers.
- Provides sales support by offering clinical guidance to sales team and customers through communications, clinical presentations, field activities and trade show presentations.
- Develops strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders and encourages interaction with ZOLL.
- Educate and develop curriculum for transport ventilation and other EMS products.
Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including strong presentation skills.
- Enjoys interacting and develop solid working relationships with customers and peers
- Technically savvy with electronic media, computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member to achieve organization goals.
- A high degree of personal organization skills, including the ability to record and report information and to document work performed.
- 40-50% travel expected
Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:
- Nursing/Paramedic/RT/MD background with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the critical or emergency care setting
- Experience educating Health Care Providers
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Care, or related field
