Accountable for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment at fixed workstation positions including: •Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly as it moves along the assembly line •Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods •Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products •Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis

Job Summary:

Perform limited electromechanical production subassembly and assembly operations of a repetitive nature.

Skill Requirements:

Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Assembles and/ or installs various electrical and/or mechanical components where operations and sequences are specified by established documentation.

  • May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, stripping, tinning or bending wire parts, wiring and fastening terminal connections.

  • May operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment Other duties as assigned

  • Entry level, generally less than 1 year experience

  • Must be able to read and understand assembly documentation, blueprints and/or wire lists.

  • Must be able to use small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers.

  • Must be familiar with general computer operation. IPC Soldering Certification a plus

  • QSR experience a plus

  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
