The LifeVest is a wearable defibrillator worn by patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), providing protection during their changing condition and while permanent SCA risk has not been established. The LifeVest allows a patient’s physician time to assess their long-term arrhythmic risk and make appropriate plans. You will be responsible for selling our non-invasive wearable cardiac defibrillator system to physicians, hospitals and staff in the Netherlands. This includes the initial sale as well as ongoing in-service and support activities to promote consistent use. This also includes activities to increase the awareness of the LifeVest in the cardiology community. Call points include amongst others: Physicians (Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Heart Failure Specialists, and Cardiovascular Surgeons etc.), nurses, physician assistants and administrators. Other essential responsibilities include fitting of patients with LifeVest, training of patients, physicians and other hospital staff.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsible for sales and ongoing support of LifeVest to promote consistent utilization
  • Responsible for achieving assigned sales objectives
  • Increase utilization and awareness in your territory in both  the  existing customer base and new accounts
  • Planning and execution of product trainings and introductions for physicians and hospital staff
  • Maintain database of accounts
  • Submit activity reports
  • Train and fit patients with the device, and provide technical support (24/7)
  • Represent ZOLL at Key exhibitions and conventions
  • Assist in the reimbursement process to ensure timely revenue collection as needed
  • Close collaboration with Marketing Manager Benelux
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Experience and Personal qualities

  • At least 2 years of sales experience preferably in the Cardiology sector
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
  • Goal-oriented, with a strong hands-on mentality and persistent approach
  • Applicant must be willing to travel frequently throughout the territory and internationally as required
