Electrode Shipping clerk

Location: Cumberland, RI, United States of America


Primary Purpose:     Pick and pack ZOLL electrode orders

Primary Functions:

  • Pick and pack Customer orders ensuring that the orders transacted are correct prior to shipment and in accordance with Customer instructions.
  • Process orders online via UPS or FedEx utilizing “Connectship” software.  Ensure that shipment data is accurate and in line with sales order’s specifications
  • Responsible for contributing to physical inventory activities such as count verifications, alignment of inventory by “FIFO”, etc.
  • Be prepared to assist in the preparation of international orders and to verify inventory counts when asked to do so.
  • Under all circumstances, perform daily duties in compliance to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Adhere at all times to established Company policies and procedures.
  • May be called upon to coordinate Inventory transfers between stockroom “BIOD” (BIO-DETEK) and “FGA” (ZOLL, MA).
  • Pickup office records when instructed to do so and store in designated area.
  • Assist in the movement of inventory to ensure that aisles remain clear & passable.  Also contribute to inventory “put away” activities in the shipping area.
  • Other duties & special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years shipping experience
  • Any similar combination of education and experience


  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent Computer Skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team or operate independently when required to do so.
